The Gender-Based Violence and Femicide programme addresses prevention, survivor support, and systemic reform through awareness, training, support services, and community dialogue to change harmful social norms.
The GBV + F program is aimed at preventing and responding to gender-based violence and femicide through education, youth, empowerment, survivor support and community mobilization. The program intergrates GBV awareness into after-school care, safe spaces, and feeding scheme, while working with men, women, and young people to shift harmful soical norms and build safer communities. The outcomes of the program include reduced GBV incidents in De Doorens, increased reporting and support seeking, empowered youth with positive values, and stronger community resposne systems.
